I moved to the Japanese Melbourne School because I wanted more flexible, personalised and individually focused lessons. I found this! Not only has my Japanese improved, my enthusiasm to study has also increased.

I love learning with the teachers in JapaneseMelbourne, they are the best teachers I have found over many, many years and through many different Japanese schools. 

I am planning to do my Scientific Research Post-Doctorate in Japan and I am well on my way to being fluent in Japanese! Thanks to Japanese Melbourne, I am confident that I will be completely capable to live and work in Japan. I would recommend this school to anyone of any age, beginner or advanced; whether you want to learn for short term or long term. It is a fantastic school!

  • Students can meet and chat with Japanese visitors to Australia in an informal setting. The sessions focus on both Japanese (for the Australian students)and English (for the visitors).
